24 August 2012

The Capital Events and Party Planners is bringing to Honiara the world renowned and funniest international comedians - The Laughing Samoans.

The Laughing Samoans will be arriving in the country on October 26.

Speaking to Solomon Star yesterday Capital Events coordinator Golden Kikolo said the Laughing Samoans promised to give a taste of what it is like in their newly release  DVD “Funny Chokers ”comedy at its best.

The Laughing Samoans is a Wellington based comedy Group that toured almost around the world staging breath taking comedy shows.

Mr Kikolo said while new in the Solomons they have promised to give Solomon Islands a style and taste of “Funny Chokers” Comedy.

He said the Laughing Samoans will be performing at a corporate dinner show at Pacific Hotel on October 26th and a corporate outdoor show for the public on October 27th.

However, he said depending on the schedule and venue arrangement there is a chance an additional show will be staged on October 28th.

Meanwhile, Mr Kikolo said he is looking for individual or groups who think they are funny to participate in a competition called “Umi Laf Laf Solomon” to be staged on September 22nd.

“We are planning a show to be staged on September 22nd. And this will be the first ever standup comedy competition to be staged in Honiara,” he said.

He said winners of this competition will be the curtain raisers for the Laughing Samoans show in October.

Interested groups or individuals are asked to contact Capital Events and Party Planners.
