MORE than 500 students of St Nicholas College participated in an end year graduation ceremony, Friday.

They were students of forms three, five, six and seven.

Principal James Lengi said the graduation ceremony marks a milestone in the education endeavor of the students.

He congratulated the students for their achievements thus far.

He said he was the strong believer when it comes to obtaining success in life through education.

“My good students I am a very strong believer of human and its capacity to always be successful in life,” Lengi told the students.

The school boss said God has a purpose for students but they must work hard to achieve their purpose.

“God has a purpose for you, but you have to work very hard to achieve that purpose,” he said.

Lengi shared three important personal thoughts, which he believes would be grounded stepping stones for the graduates as they continue to strive to excel in education.

They are: society is a system, pride and education are a key.

The principal said he wants to see his students soar like eagles in schools, societies, communities and public service.

Lengi said the students are the core reason why the Anglican Church of Melanesian established St. Nicholas in Honiara.
