“It is paramount importance to uphold accountability, transparency and good governance during the Covid-19 pandemic,” Lai said.
“These values are a top priority for Solomon football’s governing body. By practising accountability, transparency & good governance football can be enjoyed by everyone.
“By having these important governance principles, SIFF and its members will have the trust of partners, sponsors and potential new partners.
“SIFF is working closely with OFC and FIFA on a sustainable pathway to develop the game into new heights,” he said.
Lai also reminds all SIFF member associations to adhere to independent judiciary bodies of football in the country.
“There is zero to tolerance to club officials, players, PFA executive members or anyone within the family of SIFF who does not respect independent judiciary bodies,” he added.
Once being a member, everyone must adhere to the rules, regulations and SIFF Status that includes himself as the President of SIFF in areas of corruption which could bring the game into repute, he said.
