People flooded the newly built Jehovah’s witnesses’ office complex at Panatina when it opened its doors for visitors on Saturday.

The complexes are some of the few classic buildings in Honiara

The complexes were opened for the public to visit after it was successfully completed late last year.

The aim was to allow people in to see and learn what Jehova’s witness was all about.

“We are inviting the public because we want to say to them that we are a church that has nothing to hide.” A spokesperson said during the opening.

During the open day, visitors were given the opportunity to ask leaders of the Jehovah’s Witnesses what they want to know about the denomination.

Jehovah’s Witnesses began their mission in the country in 1953.
