Rugby coaches and referees meeting

The Solomon Islands Rugby Development Department is calling on all active head coaches of rugby clubs in Honiara, Honiara based registered referees, coaches who completed the IRB Level 2 Coaching course, but are yet to be assessed. 
 They are Eddie Soaki, Eric Matangi, Douglas Hatigeva, Jim Seuika, Keith Namona and Francis Dugan Tekatoha.  While for referees who completed the IRB Level 2 Match Officiating course, but are yet to be assessed, they are George Tuhaika, Saul Tanga and Stone Tapuika.

 These refs and coaches have been urged, to attend an important meeting that will be held at the Mendana Hotel this Saturday 13th March starting at 1:30pm.  

The meeting will be to look at general matters regarding coaches and match officials development in Solomon Islands including the following important matters: 

1. Coaches and Match Officials training schedule for this year (2010), including visits by FORU/IRB and OSEP officials,

2. Confirmation of dates and times for the assessment of coaches and referees who have completed the IRB Level 2 Coaching and Match Officiating courses,

3. The possibility of applying/implementing the law variations/changes approved and sanctioned by IRB in June last year (2009) as part of the Laws of Rugby, and,

4. Review and re-organize the Solomon Islands Rugby Union Referees Association for this year.

Rugby officials who had been listed or named above are kindly invited to turn up for this important meeting.
