Dear Editor-Allow me space to comment on Hon Nollen C Leni's letter and PS of Fisheries on your issue 4193. 

I  am astonised by how well informative the Minister is in terms of the fisheries practice and rules. 

I'm also very impressed by the media release of the PS for fisheries. 

For sure,  the suspended Director for fisheries have answers for them. 

There is only one thing for sure, when the big boys gang up- somebody has to be the sacrificial lamb.   

The Minister jumped the gun by ordering the release of the vessels. Minister then try to justify his trails. 

The AG's are there, the police investigators are there! why move so fast in ordering release Minister. 

There's no execuse whether you like it or not.  Why not get proper advices first.  When one is conducting due process of SI Laws, it's part of the sovereign requirements for all investors and locals alike. 

Just like immigration, customs requirements etc. Fearing possible damages not only reflects the Minister's scrambling around for justifications, but a sheer non-sense.  

A non-sense like challenging ordinary sIanders to take him to court if a person disagree. 

For the PS, I cannot blame him for the media release, the Minister is there, just have to cover him for better or worse.
