ABOUT 26 trainee nurses will graduate this morning at Holy Cross Cathedral after completing many months of work as probationers.
The nurses have been undergoing their probationary work for months at the National Referral Hospital (NRH) and have been closely assessed by the nursing officials.
Only those that successfully completed their requirements have been allowed to graduate.
Others who have failed during the probation and practical work will have to wait for next year.
In the group, 16 are nursing students from the Solomon Islands College of Higher Education (SICHE) while the rest are from Atoifi nursing school in Malaita.
Of the total only seven are males while the rest are females.
The ceremony today will see the Solomon Islands Nursing Council awarding them the title as Registered Nurse (RN) at the same announced their postings.
This will see some of them going back to their provinces to work while others will remain back in Honiara.
