The burns creek community high school form five (5) students have successfully completed their assessment work with Kastom Garden Association’s Livestock department.

Twelve students and their teacher spent time at the poultry with specialists who gave them detailed information of what they need in their assessment.

The student went through practical session by examining the whole poultry management structure and doing depecking and feather and wing cutting.

The Kastom Gaden Association, through the livestock components focuses on disseminating information on livestock to help farmers and students to their research and also to provide technical advice where possible in order for the livestock industry to be developed as part of the food security in the Solomon Island.

“The students were satisfied and excited about their new findings,” Michael Qwanafia of Kastom Garden said.
