Mr Titiulu was appointed to the post during the reign of former Prime Minister Danny Philip in 2010 and since March he was not able to perform his duties as attorney general.

Acting Prime Minister, Walter Folotalu also confirmed the appointment of Mr Titiulu when asked by The Solomon Star yesterday.

Meanwhile, people of North Malaita and East Are’Are have asked Attorney General to quickly respond on the advice to Electoral Commission to allow their by elections to take place.
