A PRELIMINARY inquiry into offences Honiara lawyer Charles Ashley allegedly committed will be conducted on July 5,6,8 and 9 this year.

The Magistrates Court set the dates yesterday.

Ashley is facing 29 counts of conversion and one count of money laundering.

These were in relation to the alleged misappropriation of more than $1 million of clients’ money he held in trust.
