Police netball team grabbed the first place,
defeating Telekom Breeze in the knockouts for section one last Saturday, running
away with the $2000 cash prize.
A tie all at 14 -14 in the first quarter, police came up strong against the Telekom Breeze with a lead of 14-11 in the second.
In the third quarter Telekom Breeze returned favor winning with a close margin, scoring 14 to 13 to the Police.
The final quarter saw Police in revenge; creating and making use of their opportunities, edging Telekom Breeze 13 to 10, to bring the final total score at 54-49.
In the losers final SOSA overcome Isa netball team by 16 to 10 in a close battle for the third place with a cash prize of $500.
Finals for the Section two knockouts will be held next week on Wednesday.
