The Solomon Islands National Sports Council (NSC) will put in a plan to commence work on the proposed national sports stadium to be built at the Burns Creek area.

Thats according to the Chairman of the National Sports Council, Andrew Nori.
The plan will be put in place during a meeting scheduled to be held this week.

The meeting will also confer ways to make discussions with the settlers so that the land issues may be resolved amicably.

The people of the Burns Creek settlement have been given some time to leave their homes since the NSC took title over the proposed land but have not done so since then.

The proposed plan to be put in place and further discussions with settlers is believed to be a way through to make things work out.

The proposed national stadium will be the biggest stadium in the Solomon Islands which will be able to hold nearly all sports played in the country.
