THE Telekom club championship is getting narrower and tougher as the showdown enters the quarter final stage today.
The scheduled quarter final showdown for today will see four of the eight teams that secured place for the quarter final battle marching out the exit door.

But after yesterday matches Kossa still maintains their lead in pool 1 with 12 points after thrashing Soloso FC 5-1 in their final pool match.
Despite the loss, Soloso still remains the runner up in pool 1 with seven pionts.
Yesterdays matches then determines others who will have the chance to occupy the third place in each pool to continue in the quarter finals.
In pool 1 the third team to secure the quarter final spot after ending up third is Marist FC.
In pool 2 Northern United secured the third place to remain in the competition after winning their second match against Kaárua 4-1, registering 6 points on the table tally.
And in pool 3 Solomon Warriors move up to the second place after a lucky win against South Central Gold of Guadalcanal 1-0.
South Central Gold’s defeat leaves Solomon Warriors with 4 points and Gizo United with 2 points in the third place.
In the other matches yesterday Solomon Warriors narrowly survived to register them second place in pool 3.
Warriors manage to create a penalty which was slotted in by Kidston Billy after a surprise appearance to salvage the team.
The game between Northern United and Karua was won by United who dominated the game.
In the final match SIPA FC of Rennel and Bellona gave Naha FC a tough fight, gripping onto the town boys to 2 all after the final whistle.
The quarter final matches will start at 10am, the second at 12pm, the third at 2pm, and the last one at 4pm at Lawson Tama today.
