Where are the nurses?

Dear Editor - I feel for the doctors, and nurses at the national referral hospital who had been working tirelessly around the clock making sure all sick patients are attended to and well cared for despite very limited resources and  number of staff.

I also understand the public concerns and frustrations especially when seeing their dearest ones suffer with sickness and only to find there were no doctors and nurses around at the outpatient for treatment.

If my memory is correct, I think there was already a National parliamentary inquiry conducted into the services provided at the national referral hospital a year ago.

May be the Chief Executive Officer of national referral hospital and the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Health and Medical Services will be the right people to enlighten us on the report and how far they go about in addressing the problems been experienced daily at the national referral hospital.
