The statement said the boys had a first run with Wynum Wolves on Tuesday night – a club playing in the Queensland Premier League (QPL) – and will do trial with other clubs next week.
Meanwhile, Raphael Lea’i, Leon Kofana and Alvin who are carrying minor injuries decided to come home despite being in the group for trials.
All the players are staying in Brisbane except for Mekawir who travelled to Adelaide.
