Fifteen men who allegedly involved in the recent logging dispute on Kolombangara Island in Western Province were released on bail on Wednesday.
Their matter has been brought over from Gizo, Western Province.
The men whom two of them are sons of a well-known business man were released on a bail of $300 each.
They will return to the Honiara Magistrates’ Court again on February 25 for the next mention.
The men are all facing charges of unlawful assembly and going arm in public.
The alleged incident occurred on December 9, last year in relation to a logging dispute on Kolombangara Island that turned violent.
It was alleged that weapon were used during the clashes between the two parties.
The clash was allegedly between an opposing party and a person who brought in the logging company to operate at Kolombangara.
