This was followed by former MP for Hograno-Kia-Havulei Selwyn Riumana and former Deputy Police Commissioner Walter Kola & Others who filed in their petition on 18 December 2014.
The rest of the petitioners filed theirs on the following days until Christmas Eve, just two days before the closing date on December 26, which was on Boxing Day.
Veteran journalist Alfred Sasako, former MP for South New Georgia, Rendova and Tetepare, Francis John Zama, former MP for VATUD Clay Forau and runner up for the Gela constituency Janet Hatimoana are some of those who took up the petitions.
