THE country’s national flight carrier Solomon Airlines has marked its 52nd anniversary with the opening of its new travel centre earlier this week.
The new travel centre at Point Cruz will accommodate all airline staff and customer service standards under one roof.
The new office was officially opened yesterday with the unveiling of the office’s plaque.
“This office has a more conducive working environment, better coverage and support within one office environment and better equipped to offer a better customer service experience to all members of the public and our Belama Corporate clients,” deputy board chairman Tony Langston said.
Mr Langston encouraged the public to make good use of the office and provide regular constructive feed back on areas the airlines needs improvements to serve the traveling public better.
He said the idea behind opening this new travel centre sparks from the business view that it is important to cut back on costs.
Adding marking the company’s 52nd anniversary with the new travel centre is an achievement for the company as it strives to provide cost effective and better services to the public.
The occasion yesterday was witnessed by Solomon Airlines board of directors, company management team, business partners, staff and clients of the airlines.
