AROUND 70 students from Vanuatu are arriving this weekend to commence studies at the Solomon Islands National University (SINU).
This was announced by SINU Chancellor, Sir Dr Nathan Kere, at the inauguration ceremony of the national university’s third Vice Chancellor, Professor Transform Aqorau, on Thursday at the Friendship Hall in Honiara.
Sir Dr Nathan revealed that most, if not all of the Vanuatu students, will undertake nursing programmes at SINU starting this year.
“About 70 pioneer international students from Vanuatu would arrive this weekend entering SINU this academic year.
SINU is now equipped with new and qualified academic staff, professors and experienced PHD graduates along with new experienced corporative staff.
