A TOTAL of nine hundred and two (902) polling stations will be set across the country for the 19th National General Elections.
Philothea Ruaeho from the office of the Solomon Islands Electoral Commission (SIEC) said the lists of all the polling stations will be put up next week throughout the country.
She said now that they have scaled down their work, there is still a few more work to be done especially with logistics and a few trainings.
Ms Ruaeho said at the moment their civic education groups are currently out there in the constituencies doing face to face awareness programs in communities throughout the country.
She said apart from the logistical part of things, they have already carried out the recruitment of polling assistances and presiding officers who will be trained few days before the Election Day.
Adding trainings will be held at each province’s headquarters to be done by the Returning Officers.
Meanwhile the Commission is calling on the eligible voters to watch out for the list of polling stations to know where they will go to cast their ballots during the polling day one the 19th.
