ON Sunday Honiara Archbishop Adrian Thomas Smith celebrated the holy mass with the congregation of Visale parish, northwest Guadalcanal.
Northwest Guadalcanal stringer John Toki said about 130 children including four students from Selwyn College received conformation on Sunday from the archbishop.
“The liturgy was prepared by catholic mothers of Visale parish.”
In his message delivered on Sunday, Toki said the Archbishop advised the children to listen to their elders in their communities and to have good education and cared for their body as a holy temple.
He said more than a hundred people attended the ceremony on Sunday.
A refreshment was held after the conformation that was joined by the archbishop and the people who attended the celebration.
