THE SOUTH Seas Evangelical Church (SSEC) women will hold a four-day convention in Noro, Western Province towards end of this month.
The convention is organised every two years and this year, the West Association is hosting the event.
“The convention will start on June 26th to 29th,” SSCE national women’s coordinator Leah Keni said.
She said more around a thousand women of the SSEC faith will attend the convention.
She said the women are in the province by June 22 before the official program begins.
“Before the actual program starts, the women will hold various activities like ministerial outreach, counselling, health talks and life-skill training for other women,” she said.
The national women coordinator said they wanted to empower and help raise women to have confidence in order to uplift their wellbeing and lives.
“And this is what the convention is about. It’s not only for spiritual benefit but also to help raised the women to realise their purpose in life,” she said.
The convention’s theme is ‘Discovering God Divine Purpose for Women in the 21st Century’.
