Visale parish in North West Guadalcanal have received more than 10 church Statues and Rosary from the parliament member Bodo Dettke.
The statuses were gifts to mark the 110 anniversary since the Catholic Church arrived in Visale 1889.
Visale parish priest Fr Peter Houhou said the Statuses will help Christian communities in and around Visale develop their spiritual ways of good heart and direction of respect and building a good happy families, communities and country as whole.
He said it is important that the church assets will help continue youth program in the communities especially during adoration and other church programs
He said it was a blessing for Sacred heart of Jesus” the asset will kept as memorise 110 Anniversary celebration Visale parish and all catholic communities.
Honourable Bodo Dettke said the gifts symbolised the 110 anniversary of Visale parish.
He thanked all church leaders, chiefs, youths and community for showing good behaviour, working together since the beginning and the ending of the program.
He urged everybody to respect with good care of the gift as a souvenir and property of church.
