A GROUP of women yesterday put smiles on the face of sick children at the National Referral Hospital with gifts.
The SDA Kukum Parish Council of Women, a group of women from Barana, Burns Creek and Kukum churches decided to pay the yesterday to remind the sick of God’s love.
Coordinator of the group Basilisa Houkura said the group went there purposely to share prayers and share messages.
“We encouraged parents if Jesus can heal the sick during his Ministry, nothing is impossible by having faith in him.
She encourages mothers to take care of their children as they are future leaders of this country.
She encourages families to build a good relationship with families and pray for children at all times.
Meanwhile Ms Houkura said they will extend the program to other wards within the hospital later.
