Managing director of Green Tourism Solomon Island Ltd Michael Tokuru highlighted this during a one day tourism stakeholders’ workshop held at Mendana hotel, Tuesday.
Mr Tokuru said that Solomon Island Government (SIG) especially the aviation department should quickly solve the flight impasse since it is affecting tourists arrival into the country because of expensive airfares to Solomon Islands.
“Many tourists have raised complain about this flight impasse because its very expensive to flying into Solomon Island following the flight impasse.”
He added the flight saga is affecting tourists’ arrival into the country over the past months.
