Well-known gospel group EM Choir launched their first DVD album at Malaita provincial capital Auki, Friday.
The ceremony attracted a large crowd, who came to watch and listen to inspiration gospel songs from the group.
Hailed from west Baelelea in north Malaita, EM Choir made a name for themselves after putting on several concerts in Honiara in recent years.
The album “Rejoice” contained seven songs.
Band member Philip Olea said their plan is to continue spread the word of God through songs and through missions to preach the word of God to those who are yet to accept or know Christ.
Copies of the DVDs are sold at $150 a copy.
