FOLLOWING the successful start of the inter-island rugby league on Saturday, two matches were played on Sunday.
The match saw Bellona thrashing Eastern islands, 56- 5 at the Panatina rugby oval field.
The match saw the dominance of the Bellona team, which blocked the Eastern side from entering their territory to make tries.
Bellona was too good which saw them making tries and converting points.
In another match yesterday Western Isles managed to overcome the Rennell team with 14-11 scoreline.
Meanwhile matches will continue tomorrow with two matches at 2 & 4pm.
