X-Beam yesterday outclassed Solomon Warriors with a 4- 3 win in the 2014 Under16 league at the King George Sixth SIFF Academy sports ground.
Junior Hou of X-Beam registered the first goal, 4 minutes into the first half and followed by Benjamin Toata for the second goal in 14 minutes.
Warriors regrouped to try and find the net through some of their moves but could not with the strong pressure from the X-Beam defence.
Young Hou then scored their third.
Warriors with the pressure to reduce the scoreline managed to work hard and within 22 minutes of play in the first half Junior Tasara slotted in the first goal for Warriors. Four minutes later Jason Gagame hit home their second.
X-Beam managed to pull back one thanks to Lawrence Martins to register their fourth goal towards the end of the first half.
Both teams returned for the second half determined to win the game.
And it was Winnie Molea for Warriors that scored the final goal in the dying minutes.
X-Beam managed to hold on to its scoreline and claimed victory after the fulltime whistle went.
The U16 league continues this Wednesday.
