FOOTBALL fans and supporters will witness the first soccer actions for this year when the country’s biggest soccer league, the Telekom S-league (TSL) resume this weekend.
As usual there will be four matches’ features down for this weekend, two on Saturday and two on Sunday.
However the full fixtures for this weekend and all remaining matches are yet to be confirmed.
At the moment Western United is leading the race with 31 points but they are strongly chased by defending champions, Solomon Warriors FC with 26 points and Hana FC with 21 points.
The S-League management is looking to wrap up the season by March to give time for the champion club to prepare for the OFC Champions League scheduled for April.
Once the S-League championship is omitted again from the competition line-up in this season, the winner of the league will automatically qualifies as Solomon Islands club representative.
All matches will be played at the Lawson Tama Stadium.
