Eagon Pacific Plantation Ltd will establish a new charity organisation called ‘Eagon Foundation.’
This foundation will be set up to administer Eagon’s financial support to organisations and communities in the country.
Boyoung Moon, Eagon’s Solomon Islands Managing Director said, the foundation is expected to be established soon.
“We decided to form this charity organisation to look after all our support administration in Solomon Islands,” Mr Moon.
A company lawyer is currently putting together the laws and regulations of the new charity organisation before it will be registered.
This organisation will look after all the company’s supports towards community, education, health and government.
“Eagon company will pump funds into this charity organisation and it would help deliver the project or help to communities and organisation.
“So things like scholarship, health, community support and infrastructure support will not be administered by the company but by the new charity foundation.”
