THE International Tea Group has donated sacks of rice to Hearts Of Hope in central Honiara on Tuesday.
The donation will go towards the Non-Government-Organisation’s fundraising event scheduled to happen in Arabala, Central Kwara’ae this Friday.
In thanking the International Tea Group, HOH director Janet Aihari said the donation will help HOH in their efforts to raise funds to purchase uniforms for orphans.
The uniforms are for the children’s day event this year.
Ms Aihari said they will make good use of the donation.
The donation of rice came after members of the International Tea Group which consisted of expats, attended a rotary meeting last month where HOH did a presentation about the their work.
