Catholic Communication Solomons (CCS) last week held its first ever meeting to discuss the media education seminars which usually conducted in all parishes of Archdiocese of Honiara, Auki and Gizo dioceses.
The meeting was conducted by CCS Director Sr. Sesilia Sala FMA and attended by the CCS staff.
The focus was mainly on the re- scheduling of the media education training’s calendar and venue.
The training aims highly to give awareness and basic knowledge of media outlets, especially on video film, basic writing skills, photographing and voice recording by using recording equipment.
They will also give awareness on importance of social media and how to effectively use the space to evangelise.
The first media training for 2015 schedule will be on 18th April at Verava community. Youths and interest individual are encouraged to attend.
