THE national rugby 7s squad for the South Pacific Games in PNG is currently undergoing intensive training with two top 7s coaches from Fiji.
Eddie Waqa and Osea Umuumulovo of Fiji are here to help prepare the team for the SPG and at the same time deliver rugby 7s level 1 and 2 courses.
A statement from the Rugby Union stated that with only two months left before the SPG, the visit of the two Fijians is timely.
“It is a very timely visit by these two great coaches from Fiji.
“Their expertise really boosts the morale of the team and it is obvious that the team will be very competitive during their actual games.”
