Dear Editor – In one of the media outlets issued this week, a newspaper reporter clearly stated that Our Telekom company has decided to stay on to this newly introduced Red Hot marketing as it is more economical and benefits both the company and its customers.
Furthermore, it makes it easier to enjoy the finest communication services the company has ever provided with varieties of option to choose from at a cheaper rate.
However, as a matter of fact, while the new initiative was highly appreciated by many which I also commend Our Telecom for doing such a great job, there are some hindrances to voice call when it comes to night times.
What I’m trying to say here is when you are using voice call by calling to another subscriber during night times particularly between 7-11pm, you will only be disappointed to note that your call will either never go through or take more redialing before it can or only to receive a common feedback of “network busy” more often.
This has caused a lot of inconvenience to many users who specifically used this period of time to stay cool and relax and make some important calls before the day is over and go to bed.
Out of many I came across, it is obvious not only in the surrounding areas where I lived but also elsewhere in town.
Now think of those living at rural areas where network problems are common to them at times, it will be even worse to them. I’m not a technical person to finally come to a decision that this newly introduced marketing strategy has caused this problem but as far as I’m concerned, previously when this Red Hot was not used, “network busy” is not a problem in most areas in town at night time.
If it is from the Red Hot strategy, which encouraged as many users to get on the limited network at the same time that caused the problem then I’m calling on Our Telekom to improve and upgrade its service.
Stop fooling your faithful customers.
