The Honiara City Mayor Alfrence Fatai has called for the failed Sol-Plaza contractor China United to cooperate with the work of the Town & Country Planning Board.
Speaking to this paper, the City mayor express disappointment after learning the claims made by China United, stating that the project is complete and they receive no notice of their license revocation from the Town & Country Planning Board.
“What China United had reported is not true because the whole project is fail, hence decision by the Town & Country Planning Board was served to them and that decision will always stands,” Mr Fatai said.
He said, that according to the board’s assessment the whole project failed to meet the standard agreed upon by the concerned parties.
He added China United must cooperate with instructions given by the HCC authorities or else they face tougher consequences of their continuous failure to adhere to our orders.
