The 2013 US Women of Courage Award winner’s dreams keep on going as she is about to open her second school and a third to be built soon.
Speaking to this paper in an interview early this week, Beverly Komasi said that her bigger plans are underway with work in serving the nation to be unstoppable.
She told this paper that because of the award she won two years ago, the courage has taken her to new heights as she speaks.
“My third school is about to open a second school at Koloale, Central Honiara.
“I have been given an old motel building from a prominent business man in Honiara and the school will be opened soon.
“This is just part of my dreams in helping Solomon Islands,” she said.
She told this paper that she also has big plans and dreams ahead and she is working towards it.
Currently, she is about to build another school and clinic for the people of Alligator creek, east of Honiara.
“I am planning to build a secondary school here (Alligator) and also a clinic, to serve my people living in this area and the surrounding communities.
“I want them to see a new day and be part of the world.
“It’s just another part of my plan and dream to help this country,” the courageous mother told this paper.
She added that she is not afraid as a woman of courage and will be standing up to change Solomon Islands.
Meanwhile, Mrs Komasi believes that women can change the world and she is proud to be a Solomon Islander that contributes in developing the country.
