Auki primary students in Malaita had their first test of Just Play games on Friday last week.
The kids festival was conducted as concluding activity for teachers and volunteers who have undergone Just Play Training workshop in Auki.
More than 80 kids at Auki primary school from the age 6 to 12 years old demonstrated their excitement through their active participation in the event which last for about an hour.
The teachers and volunteers organised and supervised the activities under the expertise of Just play Instructor Chris Asipara.
Ten schools around Auki Town took in the training namely; Aimela, Auki, Alota’a, Fai’ago, Kilusakwalo, Laulana, Gwaigegeo, Bitakaula, Sinasu and Town End primary school.
There are total of 30 participants who 22 are males and 8 are females. The training started on Wednesday 29th and ended on 31st July 2015.
At the closing ceremony the schools received Just Play equipment to conduct Just Play Program for the next following weeks.
Grateful and profound acknowledgement goes to major partners like ZN aid, OFC, Football Federation Australia, UEFA, Unicef, SIFF and SIG through the MEHRD director of primary division, Mr Benedict Esibaea.
