The promotion and relegation of clubs from all three divisions will now take place as the 2014-15 Honiara Football Association (HFA) league season reaches its conclusion.
The HFA administration on Wednesday explained how the relegation and promotion of clubs will be.
The first two clubs from the premier division will automatically relegated to division 1 and two top clubs from division 1 will be automatically promoted to the Premier division.
The last two clubs in division 1 will automatically relegated to division 2 and two top clubs from division 2 will automatically promoted to division 1.
The last two clubs from division 2 will await the play-offs with two winners of the pre-season competition to decide on the last two clubs to fill the last two spaces in division 2.
The pre-season competition will comprise of new clubs that wish to join HFA competition in the next season.
But they had to come through pre-season competition and ensure that they are among the two top clubs of the competition to qualify for a play-off with the last two clubs of division 2 from this current season.
The date for the pre-season is yet to be confirmed.
