Paramartyr Kingz and Saints FC have has booked their semi-final spots of the second edition of Wantok Futsal Challenge currently took place in Vanuatu.
According to Vanuatu Football Federation (VFF) reports both local futsal teams have secured their semi-final spots of the competition after day four of the competition.
Kingz earned their spot after two successful win and a loss to defending champions Tupuji Majik of Vanuatu 5-3 on Wednesday.
Despite the defeat the local club Kingz came second in pool A and also qualify for the semi-final.
Saints FC also booked their spot after thee impressive wins from their pool games.
Saints FC left footer Sammy Osifelo told Star Sports last night that they won their final pool game against Aveck 4-3, Thursday evening.
“Our final pool game last night was a tough match but we managed to win it,” he said.
The victory has puts Saints FC on top of pool B with 9 points and will take on Paramartyr Kingz in the second semi-final today while Pool A winner Tupuji Majik will take on pool B runner up Aveck in the first semi-finals today.
That’s means one Vanuatu club will meet one Solomon Islands club in the grand final of the Wantok Futsal Challenge on Saturday.
