UP to 60 catholic women around Visale, Sahalu ward in North West Guadalcanal have stageda Holy mass as part of a thanks giving service cerebration on Sunday.
The service was organized by the women to thank the leaders and Churches that have played very important role towards their attendance at the Tangarare Catholic women convention last month.
According to the Solomon Star North West stringer John Toki, it was a successful service which was attended by family members and the congregation who have enjoyed the day.
He said, that women danced as they celebrated their holy mass.
“It was a day of thanks giving by the women to the Church leaders, families and government for supporting them during their mission to the Tangarare convention,” Mr Toki added.
Leader of Visale parish Catholic women Emmanuelle Laparo said, that without the support from leaders and their families, their mission to Tangarare will not happen.
“Thank you Church leaders, families, provincial and national government for your support towards us,” Mrs Laparo said.
Toki said, the women were happy and perform dancing songs after the service to celebrate their day nicely.
The celebration was attended by hundreds of family members and church leaders.
