THE trails for 15 men training squad for the Solomon Islands national U12 futsal team will take place at the Multipurpose Hall this Friday.
Solomon Islands Sports Coalition (SISC) official Michael Bate’e confirmed this to Star Sports in an interview yesterday.
“We would like to urge all the 55 selected players to attend our first training session at the Multipurpose Hall this Friday,’’ he said.
“Trials will commence at 3pm under the supervision of SICS coaches and technical officials,’’ he added.
After their first trails this Friday, SICS is expected to reduce the training squad to 3o players.
“The final 15 squad will be selected after their second trails on Monday next week,’’ Bate’e stressed.
The country’s national U12 futsal team will be representing Solomon Islands at the Australian State championship early next year in Australia.
