Dear Editor – I would like to raise an issue where some of the shops in our city can rob customers by overcharging them if they buy many goods at the shops.
It had happened a number of times and some people might not be aware of it.
The most vulnerable people are the market vendors and poor farmers.
Sometimes these shops can pick on people who they see as uneducated and unable to calculate.
This issue is not a new thing, it had been raised over and over again via the social media. And customers should take heed about it.
There have been suggestions to make your own calculations or better still bring your own calculators along to the shop as well. You can use your mobiles which had calculators to make your own calculations.
