Dear Editor – I hope the coach and management of Solomon warriors FC have something to learn following their last two loses in a row in order to be competitive in the upcoming OFC champions league. It won’t be an easy ride for us being in the pool of death. It must begin now or never.
By looking at Amicale FC, they recruited players from South America. Their latest signing was an under 23 Real Madrid player. What about us? That is a question as a nation we need to ask you the management of Solomon Warriors FC. You are not going there as a club belonging to a certain language or certain group within our town. But you are our national representative in this elite competition.
Start looking abroad and don’t rely on what you have now. I suggest that we need two additional strikers and two midfielders. By watching the two losses I can tell that we are far from reaching our target. Do something management so that next time we will have two clubs representing us. Western United failed us miserably in their last campaign when they lost All matches.
Please don’t walk in their shoes but deliver us better results.
