A lunch hour prayer time has been initiated for South Sea Evangelical Church (SSEC) youth members in Honiara at the SSEC central church as of Monday.
The aim was to pray for the upcoming national youth convention that will be hosted at the Kilusakwalo village in central Kwara’ae, Malaita province, 25th of this month.
“This prayer is very important for youth members to come together and prayer for the programme,” National Youth Coordinator Pastor Stanley Aitorea told the Solomon Star yesterday.
“Young people are being urged to attend this prayer time,” he added.
He said the lunch prayer programme will continue until their departure time next week.
“You know that Satan did not want such programmes so be on our guard in prayer to make sure that he has no time to disturb it.”
Many youth ministries were preparing themselves to attend the programme.
Pastor Aitorea appealed to every SSEC member around the country to pray for the programme.
