The superintended of the Assembly of God (AOG) Church in north Malaita is calling on all church members to work together to move the church forward in the coming year.
Rev. Micah Fiodoa made the appeal following his re-election last week to look after the north Malaita region for another term.
“I want every church member within this region to work in unity to move the work of God forward,” Rev. Fiodoa said.
He thanked church members for their support during the past year and urged them to continue showing similar support for the year ahead.
More than 200 AOG pastors from the northern region of Malaita attended the election and voted in a new executive.
The meeting was held between 6-9th June.
“The church needs the support and unity of every member in order to move forward,” he said.
Pastor William Miniga from Papua New Guinea was the guest speaker during the programme. .
Rev. Fiodoa thanked the outgoing executive for their time in office, their cooperation and working together as team during their time.
He added this is a new day and a new chapter of the AOG northern region.
“I want to see the vision of the northern region taken seriously by every pastor,” he said.
