With nine more days to go before the most prestigious 6th Solomon Games kick off in Honiara, several provincial contingents has already made their way to Honiara.
Reports reaching Star Sports indicated that most of the provincial teams are anticipated to arrive early in order to have friendly matches with other teams in Honiara as part of wrapping up their preparations for the games.
They are also desperate to arrive early to settle down before the games will kick off.
Fundraising activities to support the athletes for Solomon Games has been intensifying both in Honiara and provinces.
The support so far was overwhelming.
Sports fans and supporters are also craving for the games to kick off.
According to information reaching Star Sports, Rennell and Bellona, Choiseul, Temotu have already have part of their contingents in Honiara while the rest of their athletes are expected to arrive in the coming days and week.
Meanwhile, Star Sports understands 20 sports will be played during this coming Solomon Games.
The games will kick off from the 1st of July to 17th of July 2016.
