A TOTAL of 15 children from Chapuru community in Northwest Guadalcanal have received Holy Communion for the first time last Sunday.
John Toki reported that these children had decided to take part of the communion which is part of the body of Christ.
“Thank you everyone for your acceptance to part take of Christ’s body,” Fr Peter Chele said.
“You have made a bold stand and I want to tell you that this is where your strength in Christ always comes.”
Fr Chele was happy with the parents who encouraged their children to receive the Holy Communion.
He urged other parents to build their children, teach them to make sure they grow to become good leaders in their community, province and the nation at large.
