PRIME Minister Gordon Darcy Lilo today met with visiting Greek prophet Vassula Ryden at the Office of the Prime Minister & Cabinet (OPMC) in Honiara.
During their brief meeting, Mr Lilo welcomed the prophet and her team to the Solomon Islands.
The Prime Minister highlighted that Solomon Islands is a Christian country with God fearing people.
“Thank you for accepting to visit our country,” Mr Lilo said.
He added that prophet Vassula’s visit was timely as this year is a significant year as the country heads to the polls later in the year.
“Please pray for Solomon Islands and let our people know what God wants for us and His Divine instructions for our country,” Mr Lilo said.
Meanwhile, the female prophet said she was astounded by the traditional welcome accorded to her upon arrival from Australia this afternoon.
“Solomon Islands is a beautiful country and I know the Lord has send me here for a purpose,” she said.
The prophet briefly shared with the Prime Minister that the world today has gone from bad to worse.
“We are now experiencing prophecies of the end times that have now happened everywhere in the world,” Mrs Ryden said.
“As such, natural disasters happen to warn and remind people that they need to live a proper life.”
The Greek prophet said she will be dedicating a pray for unity and peace during her session at the Maranatha Hall tomorrow night.
Mrs Rydén was proclaimed by Archbishop and renowned theologian Frane Franic to be one of the greatest prophets and seers of our times.
She has dedicated her life to what she understands the Lord has given her to do: to spread His “Love Hymn from Heaven” entitled the “True Life in God” messages, a title given by our Lord Himself.
