A pre-trial conference will be held today on the case elderly man who allegedly sexually abused his six year-old granddaughter in Isabel last year.
It would be after the PTC that the case will be listed for trial.
The accused in his 80’s is facing two counts of indecent assault.
Prosecution alleged he sexually abused his granddaughter in his bedroom at his home village in Isabel twice on December 6, last year.
It was alleged that the alleged incident occurred during the day.
The accused was arrested by police after the alleged victim confirmed it was him who was responsible for the injuries sustained her on private body parts.
The Public Solicitor’s Office is representing the elderly accused while the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions represents the State.
