All eligible voters who have registered under their constituency in the provinces have been reminded to check their names.
An official from Solomon Islands electoral commission’s (SIEC) office said its important that voters must check for their names in the provisional list at their respective polling stations before the period for the omission and objection closes.
She said voters who wish to know their names can travel to their polling stations or call relatives on phone to check out for their names.
“It is important for the provisional list to be placed in the constituencies so that people is aware of the right polling station they suppose to vote at during polling day.”
The officer said there won’t be any list for the provincial constituencies to be made available in Honiara.
